My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

As a recap, this month has been hectic. I am super surprised that through graduating, schoolies, and working that I have managed to keep this ship afloat. Cheers to another successful Twelve Days of Christmas (I've already started planning next years!!) and I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season. Happy New Year. Here we go again, in no particular order, another favourites of the month.

NSPA Fruit Extracts Fresh Sweet Raspberry Shower and Bath Gel
Although I haven't used much of it, this soap is wonderful. The smell is incredible and the bubbles it makes in the bath are glorious! I'm not going to say any more about it though because I have a feature article coming up about it, be prepared for it in January.
The Body Shop Coconut Body Milk
This will now and forever be my summer moisturiser. I got this as a present from my secret Santa this year (THANK YOU KENZIE!) along with the coconut soap and a mini white bath lily. This milk is super moisturising and light which is perfect for Australian summers. It is just too hot and sticky to both want to and feel like moisturising with a regular typically "winter" moisturiser. It also absorbs in well and a little goes a long way.
Rexona ActivReserve Sport Anti-Perspirant Deodorant
I have been working through this deodorant slowly and it is awesome. It does not at all smell like a girlie deodorant, it was made to work on the smell not mask it. Of course I use a perfume along with it so I don't smell like a 15 year old boy all the time.
Kim Kardashian Glam Eau de Parfum
I got this for Christmas from my cousin Daisy and it is surprising lovely. I would have probably never picked it up, not because it is Kim Kardashian but because I am very devoted to how to bottle looks and this one, tbh, is not one of the best. I don't really know how to describe the smell of it other than saying grown up. It it a bit citrusy but floral and delicate as well; as I said grown up is the best way to describe it.
Swisse Deep Sea Hydrating Mist Toner
I have smashed through this product. This toner is amazing for summer and not only helping your skin out but making it feel fresh and hydrated. It smells delicious and is calming af. The only problem I've had with it is that I can't seem to find it anywhere, overtime I've tried to buy it, it is sold out!
Bourjois Bronzing Powder (The chocolate one)
I have spoken about this before but only a few weeks ago did I look to the back of my make up drawers and find it again. I have used it every single time I have worn make up and am slowly making a dent in the palette. The product has a beautiful shimmer to it that isn't too overwhelming. It is easy to build and it is very helpful that the colour of it is a bit light so it is easy to control yourself and not go overboard; its hard to turn yourself from beautiful cheek bones to muddy mess.
Maybelline New York Color Elixir by Color Sensational in 100 Petal Plush
This lip product has become a part of my "throw on I am running late for work and need to get out of the house" make up look. This is awesome, it's a combination of a lip balm, lip stick and a lip gloss. The doe foot applicator is really fluffy and to begin with I didn't like it at all because of the amount of product it holds but now that I have mastered it, it is perfect! The formula is super smooth and sits amazing on your lips.
Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown
Once again, another product that I have spoken about about a billion times and one that will be having its own feature article later in January. I am almost in need to buying a new one of these because mine is running low and it has been around for a fair while now (This is the tip to go through your make up drawer and throw away any make up you have owned for more than 6 months. Remember infections are nasty). I use brow drama every single day whether I am running around with my cousins or I am going to work. It is super easy to master and holds your brows where they need to be all day/night.
Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm
Every time over the past few weeks that I have worn make up, I have used this balm to remove it. It works so quickly and is so easy (two things that would sell me on a make up removing). It is made of heaps of different oils including olive, coconut, mango seed, and rosehip. The scent is glorious and if leaving it on 24/7 wouldn't cause me to breakout, I would constantly be rubbing it all over my face.
Now the toss up...

There is a war in my make up drawer between two of the best mascaras I have ever used in my entire life. The Max Factor Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara and L'Oréal Paris So Couture Volume Million Lashes.

Max Factors argument: I have found with the Max Factor mascara the curl in my lashes holds for a lot longer than the L'Oréal one. The formula isn't as smooth as the L'Oréal one but the brush is so much better with alternating lengths in the bristles.

L'Oréals arguement: Although the curl doesn't hold as long as the Max Factor formula the actual formula itself is a lot smoother and mistakes are a lot easier fixed. The brush for this one holds a lot more product than the Max Factor one which is a bit of a hassle because although I do wear mascara a prefer a little rather than a lot.

Both are amazing mascaras although because they are both on the higher end of the price range for chemist mascaras I would choose the Max Factor over the L'Oréal, just because it holds a lot longer than the L'Oréal and application is a lot easier.

I also received a ton of homewares for Christmas from family and friends, which I have been loving. So expect another homeware haul shortly!
