Morning at the rock pools...

My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

This morning I headed out to Noosa with a few of my friends to the rock pools as a bit of a relax-detox time before work. I had never been to the Noosa rock pools before and because the beach was so packed it was the only option.

The walk out there is about 25 minutes, is about half in the sun, half in the shade and isn't too strenuous. There are one or two hills but they are flat and cemented. The path turns into sand at some points but they don't last long.

Once you reach the rock pool area you have to climb down on some either sharp, slippery or
hot rocks but once you get down there it is gorgeous!

I didn't take any photos of the rock pools but I'm sure you could search Noosa Rock Pools on Instagram or just the internet in general and see how amazing they look. I did though get some of the photos from Lucy that she took.

It was the most gorgeous weather we could have had for this trip.

My 3 top tips if you are heading to the Noosa rock pools are:

1. Go early so that you can get a park: Noosa is a very popular place. I got to Noosa at 8:30am and was lucky enough to get a really good park but another car load of my friends who arrived about 10 minutes after me got a pretty shit park.

2. Be safe, please: I know I'm pulling a Mum card but the last thing myself or anyone else wants to hear is that someone has had an accident at the Noosa rock pools. Don't be an idiot and stand on the rocks where the waves are coming in, or run along the rocks on your way down to the actual pools. (P.S I can only imagine that it would take a pretty long time for help to get to you as well)

3. Sunscreen it up hardcore: The last thing you want to do is ruin an amazing day with an awful sunburn. Get the highest SPF you possibly can and constantly reapply it.
