On the Ninth Day of Christmas...

My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas!

Here is the second DIY of my 2015 Twelve Days of Christmas. For a very long time I have been wanting to make a Christmas tree out of magazines. I have always thought I never had the time or patience but it is so much easier than I thought. I have made a fair few and decorated them all differently so you can see all the possibilities.

You will need:

Magazines
Glue
Decorations for your tree (I recommend things like spray paint, ribbon, glitter and stars. Keep it sweet and simple for the best results)
Some patience
Some time

You just:

1. Grab your magazine.

2. Fold the top right hand corner and the top edge of the page down to meet the spine of the magazine.

3. Take the new top edge of the page and fold it into the spine.

4. There will now be a little bit hanging over the bottom edge of the magazine fold that up.

5. Unfold the little triangle from step 4 and turn the page in the magazine. Fold that triangle back up on this side of the page.

6. Repeat steps 2-5 until a few of the magazines have been completed.

7. Glue the magazines together by the front and back covers and leave to dry.

Now it's time to decorate!

I chose to:

Leave one as the magazine print and add and little red bow using a hot glue gun

Spray paint one of mine white and a white ribbon once again using the hot glue gun

Also, I have only just realised that it is only four days until Christmas! What the heck? I was also surprised that the other day when Heidi and I did our Christmas shopping that we had it all done and dusted in about a half hour, which is awesome compared to our usual two and half hours.

Stay Excited, Be Joyful and Merry Christmas.
