Crack down on Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation...

Lasting Finish Powder Foundation compact
I am not really a foundation girl but I am slowly getting into products that give me more coverage (One day I'll work to a full coverage liquid foundation). This powder is very similar to the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder but just provides the coverage of a very light powder foundation. It claims to be waterproof and I feel like that is somewhat true. I work at McDonalds, and at the moment because the Australian weather is so hot, inside McDonalds is too, very hot. This means that when I do my make up in the morning it is normally on a paper towel, with a bucket load of sweat, in the bin by 1pm. I am quite surprised that this foundation seeeeemmmss to hold up against a little bit of sweat, although I am still not sure if it would make it through a day at the beach or a swim in the pool. This product does work best for me when I use the Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer after moisturising and after concealing or applying any liquid base.

It comes in a cute little red compact with the pressed powder on the topping underneath a square sponge. I have taken to using my Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Foundation brush with it instead of the sponge, because of personal preference and I feel as though I wash my brushes enough for them to be a lot more sanitary than the sponge, which is quite difficult to wash all of make up out of.

Rimmel have four tones of this foundation: light porcelain, soft beige, silky beige and warm honey. I went for the silky beige after testing it out a little and came home to find that it matches very nicely with the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in 010 Ivory, the Rimmel BB Cream in Medium (which is a little dark for my skin) as well as the Natio Neutral Tinted Moisturiser.
