My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

Oh my goodness, it is already December. This month has been amazing for me. Things at work are going well, everyone is happy at home and a lot of things are happening in the upcoming months (A LOT OF BLOGGING THINGS!!). I hope your November has been as great as mine!

This month has included a lot of spending both on make up and clothing (I know, I know) and in turn I've discovered and rediscovered a heap of amazing products. I started off the month buying new skin care products. I went for the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range. I wrote a post about the two products that I tested out and loved if you want to check that out. After falling in love with them, I went back and purchased the toner (as I said I would) as well as the Thermal Spring Water. It is seriously just water in a can but I feel like it has some amazing effects on your skin in cooling and relaxing the red areas. It is pretty expensive $20 for a 300g can from a discount chemist, but while I can afford to why not spend frivolously?

While on the topic of sprays I have recently jumped back onto the band waggon of using the Mon Amie Monique Body Milk from MOR. It is a super light moisturiser from MOR, that smells amazing. Out of all the "flavours", I think the Monique one is the best; it is fruity but grown as well. The best part about it is that it has a shimmer in it. You know I'm all about that glow!

This month I have also trashed the Australis Acontour Contouring and Highlighting Kit. It is a mixture of cream and powder products to help you create the perfect look. I have mostly stayed away from using the contour products, but I'm sure as I get use to them I will start to use them more often. I have really dug deep into the highlight though. It is a beautiful white pink shimmer that you seriously need the tiniest bit of. It lasts all day, through the sweat and oil of McDonald's. The classic Australis Banana powder section ha gotten a pretty good work out as well for setting underneath eyes and sharpening up lousy bronzer (I just use it to create a neater line in bronzer when I can't be bothered to go through the efforts of contouring). This palette is also amazing because of the mirror. It covers the entire top section and for only paying $10 for the palette, it is a really good quality mirror.
A while ago, I bought a cheap blusher from Chemist Warehouse. It is a silky blush in the colour Angel, from the brand W7. I didn't think much of it when I purchased it, but now I use it everyday along side or in place of a highlight. It is a light pink blusher that is really shiny. It doesn't require a lot of effort to blend it, and you still get a lot of pay off from it.

I recently used up all of my brow gel and when buying a new one thought I'd try something different (and cheaper). I opted for the Rimmel Brow This way Brow Styling Gel in 004 Clear. As my brows have started to fill themselves out again, I have started to use less of a pencil or product to fill them in and am instead just using this. It doesn't clump and brushes out easily. I think this is a product every single girl should have on their bathroom sink or bedroom dresser, whether you are into make up or not. It is really good for taming random brow hairs and keeping them in one position all day and night.
Like many other girls during the month of November, my Aunt Flow came to visit. Something I found helpful as I spent more and more hours at work, was to have these close by. They are the Sorbent Flushable Wipes. I just bought the tiny travel pack as it would fit in my purse nicely. They were super handy to have and helped to avoid that disgusting feeling that us girls all know too well. Please note that not all toilet systems can handle flushable wipes, I also recommend using toilet paper and wetting it ever so slightly as an alternative.

Thanks to Heidi I have a new favourite song at the moment. After she made our beach trip video I started listening to Fluorescent Adolescent by the Arctic Monkeys more and more. I've popped her video below so you can see how great they compliment each other as well.

Well that's all I've got for you this month. In the coming month keep an eye out for my Twelve Days of Christmas starting on the 13th December, and other Christmas related posts popping up.
