on the eighth day of christmas...

My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas!

Like my Christmas outfit, I enjoy sharing my make up for the day with you as I plan it out (yes I plan it out).

My Christmas Make Up

There is nothing special this year about my make up. The only thing I did do was go and buy one new little Christmas product to pump it up a bit.

I started at Mecca Maxima looking for a red shadow, but firstly I couldn't see anything from first glance and the ladies in there were awful. Everyone I approached turned away from me. (Okay lady, I won't spend $50 on an eyeshadow.) Trust me I didn't smell bad.

So I ended up going down to Cosmetics Plus, I figured the product didn't have to be great quality for a makeup look for Christmas day. If I loved the look that much than I could easily go back to Mecca or somewhere else to find a good quality shadow. I found this BYS Eyeshadow Palette. It has 36 pans with colours ranging from ark blue to light pink, cost me $12.95, and smells like plastic. That'll give you a good idea of the quality of it. Although it is really cheap the colour pay off it amazing. It does have alot of fall out and becaue I am so bad at remembering to do my eye make up before my base, I have had to redo my base every time I use this palette.

I used five of the colours for my Christmas make up look.
You can already see how much of a workout this palette has gotten.
I was a bit worried about the green but I ended up using it to line my low lash line.

Then to tie the look together I use some of my Gildedge Red Lipstick and highlighted my cheekbones, brow bones, nose and cupid's bow with the BYS Shimmer Powder (once again, cheap but actually a really nice product).

Stay Excited, Be Joyful and Merry Christmas.
