Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray...

My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

If you have read my previous posts, you will know that not long ago I went to Mecca, spent too much money and drove home wanting to cry (not really but do you really want to blow away more than $100 on a primer?). When I bought the Hourglass primer I also purchased the Urban Decay de-slick setting spray. I have been eyeing off these setting sprays for ages now, just wondering if they are good enough. Everyone raves about them but I didn't want to waste my money on it. Then after spending so much money on a primer, I just had to take the risk and buy a good setting spray as well. And let me tell you, LIFE CHANGING!!

As you probably know I work at McDonalds, a hot, sweaty, oily, gross mess of a place to work when wearing make up. I love working there but come on, I just want my winged eyeliner and $80 highlight to stay put longer than 30 seconds and this setting spray does that for me!

I got a 118mL bottle for $49, and there is also a 30mL bottle for $23 from Mecca Maxima. The ladies there were super helpful in trying to find which version of the famous setting spray would suit my skin better. As soon as I told them that I get super oily everywhere on my face, they thought this one would be perfect and it really is. When using it, I use 4-6 sprays over my face moving in an "X" and "T" motion. I will usually use a hand fan to dry it faster because I am always in a rush to get out of the door. After it has dried it doesn't feel tight or sticky on my face at all, just normal.

Most days when I come home after being at work all day, my t zone has enough oil on it to fry chips and the rest of my makeup has been lost somewhere. When using this spray to set my makeup, I come home to maybe a little bit of oil sitting around my nose and that is it.

Not only do I use this spray with a full face of makeup, but on it owns as well to keep oil at bay. I actually got so many compliments on how fresh my skin looked when I just used this on its own, with no makeup.

If you are fed up with drug store setting sprays that leave your face feeling sticky and just not set at all, I definitely recommend going and spending the money on an Urban Decay setting spray. Totally worth all of your pretty little pennies!
