WOW I wasn't prepared for this month to go this fast! I feel like I've said the exact same thing for the beginning of every favourites post this year "oh my goodness, this month went for fast" If you don't believe me, seriously go back through and read them all. It's not like I am lying though, these past few months have been so jam packed full with me constantly on the go that I feel like these little monthly recaps are the first time I get to properly sit down and catch up with myself. I am currently sitting in a hotel in Brisbane trying to think about everything I have sitting at home that I forgot to bring with me that was meant to go in a favourites post..darn it.

I feel like this month I have finally fallen into a routine for my skin. I have been using a plain, regular body soap for cleansing my face and following it with the Mario Badescu Rose Water Face Spray and a little bit of the Natio Young Skin Moisturiser. or the Coconut Revolution Coconut Hand Cream (which is basically identical to the other moisturisers just a bit thicker). Using this combo creates a much lighter moisturiser that I feel my skin is really slowly responding to. I am also keen to try, in the coming month, the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser, which everyone seems to be raving about at the moment.

I have also lent away from using heaps of face masks this month and have really just tried to keep it as simple as possible for my skin. I am cleansing and moisturising as soon as I get home from work so that my skin is free of any make up and excess oils. And alot of the time, I am not wearing any make up all together, whether that is to work or going out with my friends. My skins health has really taken a focus this month.

I am still loving going to the gym, maybe my blog will be my platform for progress pictures seeming posting them on instagram is a little too "hey look at my hot toned up bod" for my liking. I have also gotten really good at angles whilst at the gym. I don't spend my entire time taking photos but when I do I think I almost have it mastered :)
I'm not sucking in at all but see that strategically place back foot?? I'm not going to lie to you all, there was a little bit of physical manipulation before taking the photo to make this photo look the way it does.
I have also rediscovered a passion for my job. These last few weeks, I have been on the verge of throwing in the towel and giving up. Obviously there are still some unresolved issues in the workplace, as there would be with anywhere you work, but I have recently been sent on course (Shift Management Excellence) and it has really lit that fire back up for me. Although I haven't been back to work yet, this is why I am writing this in a hotel room in Brisbane, I feel like when I do go back I could literally turn the entire place on its head. You don't realise how procedures differ until you go and work with HO and learn the correct way of doing everything. I graduate my course on the 30th so if any photos are taken I'll add them in so you can see me in my cute little uniform (don't expect ti though, I have a major feeling that I will forget)

There is currently a severe weather warning for the north-eastern/east coast of Queensland, Australia and my heart goes out to everyone who is currently living through the damages of Cyclone Debbie. I wish you well and hope that you stay safe and use your instincts to make the right decisions.
