Laser Hair Removal: Round 2...

My name is Alice,
And I have these obsessions...

Today I went back for round two of my laser hair removal treatment. If you missed the update from round one, click here to check it out. I am not going to go into as much detail about what laser is and the benefits and blah, blah, blah this time because it is pretty boring and I can imagine you just want to get straight to the juicy, gossip bit, right? Right.
Quick update from round one: I LOVE LASER!! I thought that I would have to go five or six times before I would see any results. But I'd almost consider only going two or three times for now. I have seen an immediate reduction in the growth of my hair.

Once again the same prep was involved, no fake tan (two weeks before treatment), no moisturisers (day of treatment) and a bit of hair removal (day of treatment) before heading in to get zapped.

It hurt a fair bit more than it did last time. I don't know if it was just me being a sook or if it actually hurt more. After the first treatment, I have been having a bit of a problem with ingrown hairs. I had a chat to the lady who did my treatment and she recommended buying the Skinstitut Glycolic Scrub 14%. It is meant to assist with acne, breakouts and other skin problems but after reading some reviews people have found that it is super effective on ingrown hiars! So I thought I'd give it a go, I will definitely give you an update in my monthly favourites on how it goes with ingrown hairs and pimples.

My skin was really red this time after the treatment as well. It didn't feel overly irritated but it was very hot.. Edit: nothing came of this
